  • Weekly Mowing

    Same morning, same crew, every week — quiet pro-grade mowers, crisp lines, and walks blown clean before we leave.

    Weekly or every-other-week service across the Westlake corridor. Pro-grade mowers and freshly sharpened blades on every visit, mulch-cut by default, bagging on request. Cut height adjusted by season — taller through July and August so St. Augustine and zoysia keep moisture under the live-oak canopy and never get scalped. Edged on every visit; we work around the mature trees and limestone beds without scuffing them.

  • Edging & Trimming

    Deliberate edges along beds, walks, and limestone borders, plus careful trim work around live oaks and view-deck posts.

    Power-edged borders that hold the line all week, string-trimming around the obstacles a mower will not touch — limestone outcrops, oak trunks, deck posts, gate hinges — and a final blower pass so nothing carries onto the patio, pool deck, or Bee Caves Road frontage.

  • Leaf & Oak-Drop Cleanup

    Live-oak shed in spring and the post-cold-snap drop in late fall — bagged, hauled, and out of the beds before the next mow.

    Westlake yards drop leaves twice a year and both drops are heavy under mature canopies. Spring: the live-oak shed gets raked, blown out of beds and gutter lines from the ground, bagged, and hauled the same day. Late fall: the post-freeze drop, plus a full reset of beds and oak skirts before winter.

  • Bed Maintenance

    Hand-pulled weeds, hill-country-stone bed cleanup, and ornamentals that look like someone tends them.

    Hand-pulled weeds — no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask. Pruning timed to each plant rather than the calendar — Texas sage in late winter, salvia after first bloom, lantana hard cut after the first freeze. We work carefully around limestone borders and dry-stack walls so the mortar lines stay clean and nothing gets dislodged.

  • Mulch Refresh

    Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — installed at the right depth so the beds look fresh and weeds give up.

    Bulk-delivered or bagged, hand-spread to a clean 2 to 3 inches around plants and trees with a sharp edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first when it needs it, and we keep mulch clear of trunk flares — important on the older live oaks where shallow roots run wide.

  • Hedge & Shrub Shaping

    Boxwood, holly, and Texas sage shaped clean — straight lines where you want them, soft mounds where it suits the plant.

    Privacy hedges along property lines, formal boxwood at the entry, and the Texas sage that wants a yearly hard cut. We size the cut to the plant, not the schedule — and we always leave the property cleaner than we found it.

  • Live-Oak Skirting & Tree Care

    Light limb work and skirt-up on mature live oaks — the kind of work that keeps a Westlake yard looking sharp without ever touching a chainsaw the wrong way.

    We skirt up canopies for line-of-sight from view decks, clear deadwood from the lower limbs, and coordinate with a local certified arborist for anything heavier. We follow oak-wilt protocol — paint cuts inside the disease window, never prune in February through June except for storm damage.

  • Sprinkler Tune-Ups

    Spring start-up, summer adjustments, and the head you keep meaning to call about — fixed in one visit.

    Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repairs, controller programming, and a walk-through with you to make sure every zone hits what it should. We hand-time runs to match Westlake’s drought stages so you stay compliant without stressing the lawn.
